Problem Note 43539: The data validation object in supplemental schedules is limited to 255 total characters
The data validation object used in SAS Financial Management supplemental schedules for displaying valid strings is limited to 250 characters. This limit was based on a Microsoft Excel maximum of 255 characters for versions 2003 and earlier.
For example, if your supplemental schedule contains a drop-down selection list with more than 250 total characters, the displayed contents of the list is truncated at 250 characters.

This is marked as fixed in release 5.3 of SAS Financial Management.
